Ten on Tuesday - Week #17

1. What does your car say about you? If you don’t have a car, what kind of car would be your daily driver?
My car is a Honda Civic. It says I'm practical. It's on the smaller side as cars go since I'm often traveling alone, but it's big enough to carry passengers when needed. It gets good gas mileage. And Hondas are reliable - I know people who are driving Hondas that are over 15 years old. I plan to drive the Civic for years to come.

2. To this point, what has been your purpose on this planet?
The answer to this question could go many ways. When I go bowling, my purpose is to make everyone else feel good about their scores. When their are events to be planned, my purpose is to think of all the random little details that others tend to forget.

3. If you could trade places with any person for any amount of time, who would it be?
I think it would be interesting to be a man for a day. Not necessarily any particular man, though someone that I know would add an extra element of interest. I've been a female my whole life (obviously), so I know how we think and can often see the motive behind our actions. But I think it would be interesting to see if guys really have moments of thinking of nothing. And do they feel as confident inside as they exude on the outside?

4. What is your favorite kind of cake? If you don’t like cake, what is it about it that you don’t like?
I like yellow cake with white icing - boring, I know.

5. Would you have wanted to live in your parents’, grandparents’ or great-grandparents’ generation or only your own?
I kind of think it would've been fun to live in my dad's generation. He was born in 1940, so he was a teenager in the 50s and I like lots of things related to the 50s. Part of me thinks living in the late 1800s or early 1900s would have been interesting, but I'm not feeling all the corsets and fancy dresses and such.

6. Do you have any home remedies for illnesses, cleaning or otherwise?
A nap! Naps can solve a lot of what ails me!

7. What is your ideal weather situation?
Seventy-five and sunny with a light breeze and little humidity.

8. What is your best attribute (physical or personal)?
Physically, I like my eye color. Personally, I am very dependable & trustworthy.

9. Do you text or surf while driving?
Nope. That's uber dangerous!

10. How long have you known your best friend?
We had our 10 year friend-aversary this summer. We met when we both worked at the same camp during college.
